breast feeding & drinking ?

Iv been trying my best to breast feed as long as I'm able .
Today I decided to have a drink , I know you can , my question is how long do I have to wait ? Or must i pump and dump ?

You can put your milk in the fridge for up to 5 days, so maybe next time you plan to have a drink, express as much milk as you can before hand :)

2 hour after drinking pump and dump according to breast feeding clinic at my hospital

For next time, pump prior to drinking and freeze it :) fresh, untainted supply at the ready

I easy told that on if u pump til u stop feeling tipsy that's when it's ok to feed again

How much did you drink (and what was it)? If it was just a beer or a glass of wine or something, you probably won't have to wait long for it to leave your system.

Alcohol peaks 30 to 90 minutes after u have a drink and works its way out depending on ur metabolism and how long ur drinking pump and dump just if u need relief but it wont get rid of alcohol they have test strips if u wanna play it safe

Pump and dump has no affect, u have to wait at least 2-3 hours
