brown discharge during 5 week 1 day of pregnancy

I am 5 week and 3 day pregnant today but i had a little brown discharge from past 3 days. It is like spotting. I told my gyne and she did ultrasound and found a sac with fetus but no heartbeat. My bhcg values was 6535 at 5week 1 day pregnancy. but my gyne is not giving me any hope. Is this a sign that i will lose my baby.

Its way too early to see a heartbeat.  They are not detected until closer to 7 weeks.  Brown blood is old blood.  I would not give up hope yet.  Ask for a other ultrasound _(vaginal )  in a week and a half or 2.

Not necessarily. It can be hard to find a heart beat before 6 weeks. Don't get too concerned yet. Are they going to do another ultrasound in a week or two? At this point try and rest as much as possible.

At a vaginal ultrousound u can detect the babys heart beat early. At 5 weeks yes thats possible. There can be many reasons why they dont see it.. But u can deff or should be able to see it already.

Honeslty it can go both ways.. Ive heard woman say there babies wernt able to be seen till weeks later. From my experience i had brown discharge followed by cramps a couple days later and i ended up having a mc.. So it can go 2 ways. Either way get lots of rest.. And just take care of urself..
