Hi everyone merry Christmas I'm 6 weeks along I woke up this morning with a tiny bit of brown blood in panties and when I wipe get some brown discharge too - I don't remember this with my daughter and I am incredibly scared it could be the beginning of a miscarriage.. Has this happened to anyone else?

Good news afilip81 I'm sure that put ur mind at ease to see ur baby is OK - crossing my fingers the clot resolves on its own - as for me there was no more brown discharge after the 26th but its back today =\

I ended up having a lot of bleeding. Thought for sure it was a miscarriage. Went to the doctor today and had an ultrasound. Baby is fine. I have a blood clot in my uterus that is causing all the bleeding. Now I just wait and hope it resolves itself. I go back in two weeks for another ultrasound to make sure the baby is still ok .

I am also six weeks ago and am having the same thing happening to me today. Called my doctor and was told to try not to worry unless I get cramping and heavy red bleed. This is my first pregnancy and I have waiting so long for it I'm still scared too.

I understand. I had a miscarriage too. I was always checking the tp for blood. I did it up to about 20 weeks.

Thanks that's what a lot of articles I've read have been saying... I'm just uneasy we had a chemical pregnancy a few months ago and I'm so afraid of losing this baby too

It's likely old blood from implantation. If you start experiencing bright red blood that can fill a large pad in an hour go to the ER. If your unsure call the Doctor
