c section... in 24 hours!!!

My c section is in 24 hours!!!! Excited, nervous, estactic, and scattered brained is how I feel lol!! Anyone else have/had a scheduled c section recently?? How did it go?!

My husband just made me a big ol' meal at 11:30 lol. They said nothing after midnight:/ I'm nervous but excited lol hope its better this go around! Thank u ladies and good luck to you also!!!

Mine is scheduled for tomorrow also, I was told not to eat or drink anything after midnight. I have to be there at 5am and my c section is 7:30am. At 11:30 tonight my husband is making me a big meal and as long as I finish it by midnight I'm good lol

As far as eating they give you a time you have to stop eating so try to get one early in the am. I was scheduled at 7am. Had to be at the hospital at 430 and couldn't eat after 830 the night before. It wasn't as bad as i thought it was gonna be. I just went to bed after not being able to eat.

i have had 2 and am going to have another in december. they were both really easy. with the second one i was cleaning my house the same day i got home. ask the doc to use surgical glue. you heal really well. they used it on me and i barley have a scar. good luck. ps try to eat before going in. i went 24 hours without eating with my second. i went into labor at 9am and went straight to the hospital. they woildnt give me any food waterice lollypop NOTHING. they said my stomach had to be prety much empty. i had my son @ 7pm. i hadnt had anything tk eat since dinner the night before. i thought i was going tk starve to death. so try to eat something late at night or real early in the am.

I had one Monday and besides a little pain getting in and out of bed i feel pretty good. Going to get my staples out tomorrow. Everyone including my anesthesiologists was surprised at how well i took my epidural. I was numb within 10 minutes. Its really a mind over matter thing. Don't over think how painful you'll think it will be. Good luck momma.
