c-section mommys

What was c-section like? My baby is measuring over 9lbs and I still have 3 weeks left until my due date dr says I might need csection. What was the healing process like for you? And did u need help when the baby was born?

I've had 3 c-sections and soon to be 4 if my doctor makes me. I want to try natural vaginal since it's been years past since having them. But all mine where fine. Easy recovery and all. Just stay drugged and you'll be fine. Take your meds routinely even when you don't feel the pain so that the pain won't creep up on you. After about a week ease up on the meds because they won't be as necessary

I have only had one child and it was via c-section I am expecting my second and I'm kind of nervous
my first c-section was very easy
I had help from my mom but I do believe that if I had to do it on my own I could have I was just spoiled.. the healing process was very fast and easy for me.. and the scar is almost invisible.

I have had two c-sections and will be having a third in March. The healing process was not as bad as I thought it would be the first time around. The second time I pushed myself a little more than I should have but still didn't have a problem. The first time I was up and walking around 15 hours after. The second time I was up and walking within 12 hours. Don't be ashamed to ask for help or take advantage of the nurses and the nursery. You'll need help with the baby until you can get up and walk. The hardest part of having a c-section for me was having to wait to eat afterward.

Oh, and I was released 2 days afterwards and had no problems whatsoever taking care of him at home by myself.  You will most likely experience some pretty good swelling of you feet and ankles though if you spend a lot of time on your feet. You just got to remember to kick back and prop them up during feedings to help keep the swelling down.

I had my 1st on Feb 5, 2013 via c section.  Worst part was the girl sticking the IV in my arm...she just could not get it lol. The spinal block or epidural basically felt like a bee sting but was over fairly quick. Stayed in bed remainder of the day for recovery. Nurses brought my son in and back out to the nursery when asked. Was up showering and walking the hospital the following morning with mild pain medication. Will be having another one via c section in july.
