caffeine in moderation okay?

I really don't drink caffeine but ice tea once in a while. I think.I had 5 cups of ice tea over my 16 weeks pregnant. Is it okay once in awhile or should I avoid it all together? I ask because I am so tired and have a long day ahead of me still!

I've had a large coffee every day of pregnancy. Some days two. Some days soda, and tea every night. I'm due in 8 weeks, and both me and baby had a great pregnancy :-)

And I think it was 1/2 can per fizzy drink each day (more to limit sugar than caffeine intake), so iced teas should be totally fine to enjoy daily :)

I'm an addict! Tea and coffee. My doc said 2-3  black teas or one instant coffee a day is safe. If u like stronger take-away coffee or tea its more like one every second day. Herbal teas n green tea you can have more frequently because they're less processed and leaves are closer to natural state :) ive been trying to stick to this rule but some days (you know those long yucky exhausting work days) ive gone over this limit and my bub's measuring big! I think like everything else- all's good in moderation :)

Yes :-) there is a mac you are suppose to have in a day, I dont know what the max is off the top of my head as I only drink tea and non caffeinated.  But my sister drank coffee everyday of her pregnancy. She just made sure to stay under the max allotted.

Caffeine is associated with low birth weight. However, it's the one thing I couldn't stop with either my first pregnancy or this one. My first was born very healthy with a healthy weight. The doctor has told me that everything with me and this baby has been perfect. Not to mention when I get a little antsy about not feeling the baby move... I'll drink a soda and then lay down and wait for the back flips.
