I had a preventative one at 13 weeks, I'm now 18 wks, and it was no big deal.  My water broke before I could get an emergency one in my last pregnancy. I had some spotting for a few days, braxton hicks for about a week, and still to this day I get a sharp "zing" pain in my cervix every once in awhile. Actually get my cervix length checked for the first time this afternoon since getting it.  Are your membranes bulging? Best of luck! Prayers sent your way, I had my scary situation last year

I haven't but so glad you are having this done.  It will be fine and I am so glad they have this procedure to keep babies in for longer periods of time.  Good luck!

I am only 7 weeks, but am going to probably need one, it freaks me out.
I have to have extra ultrasounds to track my cervix, I hope everything goes great for you
