Potassium and magnesium deficiency can give you muscle cramps and spasms. Make sure you eat foods high in those minerals such as bananas and leafy greens
Try not to stretch when laying down in bed. I did it once and it hurt for a few days and everytime I catch myself stretching laying down I stop right away.
Drink. Lot of water when your muscles cramp up that that it meNs you are dehydrated
Yes, bananas and tons of water. For years, both my husband and I woke nightly with them. Pregnancy makes them worse.
Same for me its a potassium deficiency. Bananas are always what you think of first but they are not that high in potassium. Drink lots of orange juice, it's the best source of potassium. I've been Charlie horse free for 2weeks now! Blessed wishes!
I had same problem 3 days in a row I could barely walk when I got out of bed. They are the worst, yes potassium helps. Good luck, hopefully no more.
My doctor said I needed more potassium and calcium and had me get some of those calcium chews for women. Also eat bananas. Worked for me.
