Just had a baby in April at 37 weeks 3 days due to Gestational hypertension and I had a csec because my first was a csec. He was perfect no problem at all. Blood pressure went most of the way down by my 6 week fu. Good luck! I am pregnant again and worry I will have it again very stressful buy I have a great Dr.

Pitocin, from my experience, makes contractions much stronger. The medicine is forcing your body to contract at a pace other than what it wants to. Some women can handle it. I labored for 8 hours before I asked for one with my first child. It was just too much pain and they were too close together for me to relax in between. They increase the dosage at a pretty steady pace and leave it on for most of your labor if not all of it so it's like u get no break. As long as you know what you what your limit is and if you're open to an epidural or not, u should be ok. I am also being induced on the 8th :) but I'm having my tube tied after ands my Dr is on vacation the following week and I don't want anyone else to touch me lol good luck
