cold sores

Does anyone have a better rem. For cold sores. Had one at around 8 weeks for 3-5 weeks. Can't get anything to work. Now at 20 weeks and its taking off again. Soc ordered abreva, tired most everything I use prior to pregnancy. Nada.

I agree of you take lysine every day you will not get them... bit of course it's annoying to take something everyday. 100% acetone works for me. Sometimes I'll take natural antivirals like garlic but but usually acetone os all it takes... I ise it until I can feelings dead.

I followed my man's remedy. He is puerto rican and he said his grandma told him to take a cutip and dot it with bleach twice a day. And it worked for me. Dried it right up!

It's called releev from walgreens in a purple box. The best thing I have every every used other then Valtrex. Abreva always made it worse.

I use the patches. Don't know if you have them where you are I'm in uk. They're  called compeed.

I get them from being sunburnt, or stressed. I use a multivitamin called L-Lysene and since using those the severity of the cold sores is much less than it ever was before they barely come up anymore.

Cold sore fx and polysporin patches they make for cold sores cause then you can put a small dab of cover up on it. I rarely get them now.

I personally found it's better to dry them out them use creams like abreva. I use benzoyl peroxide. You can get a tube of it at Walmart under the name Zapzyt. IFor me it turn it into a scab quickly and it heals faster.
