contractions!!

36 weeks pregnant and been having contractions for about 3 weeks now. I was in pre term labor according to the hospital, but wasn't dilated (3 weeks ago). But, been having any where from 8-15 contractions a day, cramps, diarrhea (tmi sry), and fatigue. I am a scheduled c section so doc doesn't want me dilating past 3. But haven't been checked in 3 weeks.... Idk what to do. I've did the whole laying on left side and drinking plenty of fluids... They are so annoying.. Anyone else??

I'm going insane. I don't think I'll even be able to tell when I'm actually in labor. With my 2nd I didn't feel any either just went for 37 week check up and was 5cm 90% effaced had contractions according to monitor but never felt a thing until they induced me because those contractions weren't strong enough to dilate me past that 5cm. Doctor keeps telling me do what I can to help my cervix speed up and keep contractions going so I won't have to be induced again and thought it was working until yesterday now I'm just clueless. She doesn't even know what to think. They thought for sure yesterday that was it and so did I but nothing. There is no way to determine how fast we will dilate. I pray you will be able to make it to full term. With my 1st they had to stop premature labor twice and I made it to 4cm the 2nd time and managed to have her on my due date. So hopefully you will stop dilating for a while. Have they put you on bedrest.

I had more than 15hrs of really strong contractions yesterday that was 3 minutes apart that somehow managed to do nothing but cause me a lot of pain and 2 trips to l&d. Your doctor will probably begin checking you this week and I'll definitely mention them to your doctor. My weaker contractions have done more than the strong ones did and I went to 3cm 60% effaced in 2weeks.

See, I have like 4 an hour that are 3-5 mins apart then they stop. Then I will have like 2 that are 30 mins apart, then they go back to 2-5 mins apart! Its driving me crazy lol!!! Its like they are trying to become consistent but won't! Lol!!

Been in same position had premature labor stopped at 33 weeks and been having contractions and everything since. But I've been checked every appt. I was 3cm 60% effaced Monday and still there yesterday morning. I would ask your doctor when they plan to check yoyr cervix if they don't want you going past 3cm. But it sounds as if you might be having BH instead of contractions which don't do anything. I get regular contractions about 3-5 hours a day about 10 minutes apart. I would just time them if they are 10 minutes apart or less call your doctor.
