cramps

So im 34 weeks pregnant and for the past three or so weeks ive had cramps like im on my period where all i want to do is curl up in a ball and take some midol but obvi its not my period. Each time i call the doctors and ask about it it seems to not be alarming as long as im not bleeding or "the bloody show" hasnt begun.. but of course im still concerned  because its constant unless im sleeping. Is this normal? And what the hellbis going on with my body if it is?

I have that too! My ob says it's just my body getting ready for labour but if it's really strong or makes you think twice to go get checked out cause it could be the start of labour!

I thought it would be but its a constant  cramp it doesnt come or go its just there almost like right after getting mirena put in or the first few days of a heavy period but no blood... then ill get a sharper pain on and off which i think is the braxton hicks part but i cant figure out what the constant cramp is.

It could actually ne braxton hicks. I had painful ones as well.....we seem to be a minority, but it does happen.
