craving chili powder with fruit

Im 17 weeks and i am finally over my morning sickness and regaining my appetite. I'm wondering if eating mangos with chili powder is bad for my baby?

Ive been having it throughout my pregnancy, and Im 34 weeks, with oranges, watermelon, cucumbers...etc! As long as I dont sprinkle a thick layer I dont get heartburn. I read that spicy foods are not bad for pregnant moms or babies especially if theyve always ate spicy foods before pregnancies. That it promotes a babys openness to try new foods later after theyre born.

Lol I'm craving chilli on everything. It hasn't given me heartburn no matter how spicy I make my food, yet cake gives me terrible heart burn... Go figure! Its good for boosting your metabolism and immune system so go for it!

Totally ok, just so your tummy can take the spiciness for any acid reflux or heartburn- mines been really bad but I'm a fruit lover with the chili powder and lime. Now you got me craving,  lol. Hope you enjoyed it.  ;)

Spicy foods are fine while pregnant just watch out for heart burn! I also read that allowing children to have some spicy food (don't bland their food down) makes for a healthier and stronger GI system.
