depression ...

I am currently at 13 weeks and feel like I never want to leave the house. Work is full of stress (tech support rep for iphones) and find that I always want to go home early, last month I had no problems with being at work.

I just feel like lying down and staying there. I don't even feel like crafting and that is one of my favorite things to do.

Talked to my mother and she said that I just need to get over it. But if it was that easy I wouldn't have mentioned it to her.

I am constantly feeling nauseous and cramps every once in a while. I'm tired of feeling bad all the time.

Does anyone have any advise or are you going through the same thing? I just need to know that it's normal to sometimes feel this way.

Going through the same thing. Do you have insurance and does offer any short term disability? Mental illness is many times covered, and that's what I had to do.

I think you should mention it to your  doctor. I'm part of my insurance future mom's program and a nurse calls every month to see how I'm doing. She always asks how often I feel down or don't take pleasure in things that I normal would have. Our hormones are doing such crazy things that it's beyond our control when we feel this way. Pls mention it to your doc because she can keep an eye on you and help you deal with it when you feel this way.

I will mention it next time I go. I do have insurance and work has given me FMLA so I can go home without getting in trouble. I hope my hormones go back to some sort of normalcy soon..

I was the same way during the first trimester and the first part of the second. I think its justthe fatigue. I got over it after i got my energy back around 16 weeks. Hopefully its just a trimester thing for you like it was for me. Good luck!
