diapers

Is anyone sticking to only "name brand" or will store brands be an option? I heard Target diapers are good and I'm always looking to save money ;)

I'll be cloth diapering also. I'm using Bumgenius 4.0 brand. We need to save money and i bought a whole supply of diapers for what we would have spent on 4 months worth of disposables. They should last until potty training and i can resell them after. I like that they are chemical free also and I can dry them in the sun in just a few hours. Ill use pampers for when we travel so we dont have a load of stinky diapers when we get home. Check it out, it really is affordable and they are super cute.

I will only use gDiapers on my next baby like I used on my first. Saving money is important to me so I decided not to buy diapers that I had to throw away after one use and buy more every week. Absorbent cotton prefold inserts against my baby's skin instead of chemical-filled paper and plastic meant my son never ever got diaper rashes or allergic reactions. Keeping them clean and stain-free is easy and only means two or three more loads of laundry in a week, and when I'm done having babies they even have a pretty great resale value so I can get back a good percentage of my investment! Cloth diapering is definitely the way to go for my family.

It definitely depends on how the baby is shaped.  My daughter had huge chunky legs and pampers worked best for her. When she got a bit slimmer I was able to switch to luvs which worked great for her newly thinned out frame.

My daughter became allergic to huggies and pampers after about 9mths. No  .  idea why. Had to use luvs and they were fine. This baby is a bouy so will try panpers see how he reacts.

Expecting our 7th child, although we have 5 at home (soon to be 6 :D) but we use Pampers Swaddlers until about 6 weeks, then I move onto Huggies Pure And Natural. After the baby crawls etc, I then move onto Huggies Little Movers. I have tried other brand but definitely had to luck!! Babies as r Us store organic brand is okay but I still prefer those I stated  above. I also use cloth diapers when I really have energy, never in public though and usually only during play time. I hate Luvs in my opinion they are horrible and useless!!!!

Something you might consider trying if you're having a baby shower is offering a raffle ticket to anyone that brings a package of diapers to the shower. We were given an MP3 player that we used as a raffle prize.

We did this with our first, and didn't have to buy diapers for six months after baby was born. Everyone buys different brands, so it gave us a chance to try multiple brands out.

We really liked the Costco brand which were similar to Huggies, and Parents Choice from Walmart worked really well for us.

I use pampers or huggies for at least the first few months. Then I switch to store brand. We've used luvs and those work for us.

We cloth diaper. I only buy diapers when we travel. I used luvs with my son because that style fit. They're the same as pampers. Huggies/kirkland always leaked on him. With this baby, it will depend on fit.

Huggies when my daughter was a baby thrn when she became active, those leaked so we tried Luvs and have ever since. Will do the same with this one too.

With our son we originally bought name brand and then one week we were short of money so bought store brand and found they were just as good. So now we save our money and buy the store brand.

This is my 3 rd child so you realize its about saving money when they are little it doesn't really matter but when they get about 6 months the cheap ones will blow up i had great babies that slept all night and id let them i wasn't going to go in there 5 times a night to change them unless they really needed it after that i stuck with luvs especially at night

Petsonally, i love the walmart brand,  because that was the only diaper that wouldn't leak. And i don't wait till the diaper is full either.  I change diapers right away.
Pampers and Huggins has always leaked when i used them for my baby. First i thought i was puttingthem on wrong, this was with my first kid . I got tired of spending lots of money, so i went to the walmart brand and well, no leakage. So I'm going to stick with that for this new baby.

I always get what's cheapest why spend extra for a name when cheap ones work just as good as long as baby isn't allergic I would go with the best deal

Pampers are the best! Huggies and Luvs were horrible because she always leaked through them at night but not with Pampers!

I've use Huggins with all 3 of my babies but recently they switched their product up and now they seem as if the regular Huggins are made with a cheaper material... so I plan on using Huggins snuggles they are alot thicker
