My doctor has you come in between 6-8 weeks. But yiu should go ahead and set up and appointment because doctors offices are usually busy and it can be hard to get an appointment

If that is the case than I suggest you set up an appointment.

Call to set up your appointment. They like to a nurse's intake appointment early and then have a doctor see you a couple weeks later. It's best to have them scheduled. The operator will know when a good time for the appointment is.

I think you can wait two more weeks cause that's about the time they will detect a heartbeat, unless you just want to confirm the pregnancy with a blood test or perhaps you are worried about something else.
