doctor calling?

I'm not sure how far along I am. At least 10 weeks though. Mon went to 1st appt. Couldn't hear the heartbeat. They did all the blood work and a sugar test BC of family risk. They also did a csytic fibrosus test. Well today they called me. I missed the call, no voicemail to say why the call. When I called back either they closed or gone to lunch. Why would they be calling and why not leave a message? Dont they know I'm a little worried already?

They have an after hours message service. One for emergency and another for non emergency I left a message on the non if u leave one on emergency the on call Dr gets it. I didn't know if he/she would even know why the call was made.

They tried at 12 weeks to hear the heartbeat on Doppler and couldn't. Just had an ultrasound today and everything is fine. Don't worry!

Don't they have an after hours NUMBER for the doc on call? If so I'd do that :)

I know it would be nice, but until they have your written permission you could sue big time for privacy breech and they can't risk it. Hang in there!

Thanks so much guys. I just get nervous with this one BC I was on depot and worry about losing the baby. I do need to relax and just wait till Fri. I just wish they would've left a voicemail saying please give us a call or no need to rush...something. I probably would over analyze anything though tbh. Merry Christmas mommas!!

Relax, at 10 weeks or less it can be too soon to hear a heartbeat. I know waiting can be overwhelming. But you need not to stress being pregnant.

It's against HIPPA to leave medical information on voicemails since there's a chance someone else could hear it.  Just give them a call after Christmas and don't get stressed :)

Generally they won't leave your results on a voicemail. They should have left a message on when you should call back. I'm sorry your so worried :( just try to relax and stay positive (I know its hard)
