I've tried bio oil and moisturizer it temporarily alleviates some of the itchiness. I consulted my OB about it, he recommended using Hydrocortizone 1% and it does do the trick. I use it probably every other day or two. Also, try to avoid hot showers, the heat can irritate your skin.
When I went to my primary to get my official referral to my Ob, my doc said that itchy skin while pregnancy is a sign of your kidneys not working at full capacity. You can try drinkingbextra water and see if that helps. If not, talk to your Dr or midwife.
try the cocoa butter that comes in the tub. It's really condensed so u don't need a bunch but a good two finger tip full works great! I use it before bed cuz it can be a lil greasy. It really helps the itchy dry skin n helps reduce stretch marks :)
My skin has been very dry aswell recently. I use bio oil but still not really helpin to b honist. So bfor bed i just put loads of lotion in to see if tht helps any.
