ease contraction pain. help!
Ftm 41+1 today. got an NST done today, babys heart beat is very good and I'm 2 cm dilated. I have been getting contractions all day long. There is no pattern, sometimes they are 10 minutes apart sometimes less/more but they only last 10 to 35 seconds. They are extremely painful. is there any way to deal with the pain ? I already have a heating pad on my back to help with that pain.
Try a warm bath, that helped me tremendously. Plus it relaxed me and helped dialate further:) Good luck!

Awesome! Glad it's helping:) From my experience the more relaxed you can make yourself the easier it is to deal with. I took more than one bath while in labor with my second (the didn't have a tub with my first). I fully plan on using it with this one! Keep us updated!
