extra sensitive teeth

My teeth have become increasingly more sensitive. I'm 30 weeks. Has that happened to anyone else?

I am going through this now. I am so glad to know I am not the only one. It gets so bad sometimes I can't sleep. Hopefully it will get better

Yes It will go away after birth. But I'm still pregnant and it has gone away for me already with the changes I suggested. If I miss a day of taking my prenatal pills I notice they get back sensitive though(i need the extra calcium from them).

My teeth were very sensitive with  my first.  I could barely brush them and anything hot or cold was painful.   I had a regular cleaning at the dentist and was almost in tears.  Hoping this time around will be better!

The baby is taking all of your calcium. Up your calcium intake & brush with sensodyne toothpaste.

I've gone to the dentist multiple times because it's gotten worse and they keep telling me that if it gets really bad that it means a root canal. No thanks!

This is actually pretty common.  I'm not sure what contributes to it but yes, I had this.  I went for a teeth cleaning and they couldn't do it because I was too sensitive and kept gagging.  It got better immediately once I had my first child.  good luck
