How soon after?

I received a 2nd membrane sweep today (I didn't even know I had one done at my last appt on Thurs) until my doc told me she was going to sweep me again today. I was told I'm 4 cm dialated, so my Q is how soon after did you go into labor when you have this sweep done. I've been having light contractions since thurs and now I know why. My due date is in 5 days. Thank you.

My daughter was due December 31th of 2012
My doctor did my membranes on the 27th around 1-2pm, I went to the hospital at 4 to be checked for dilation, next thing I know my daughter was born at 4:05am on the 28th

It took me a few days but it could be anytime, you never know your water could break. Be ready..

I didn't go into active labor after having my membranes swept. They did mine on my due date and ended up inducing me 3 days later because the contractions were terrible but I wasn't progressing.
