I haven't asked her much about it I am going back in two weeks then weekly appointments so she will discuss more then. I think it is more along the hospital rules than hers. She was ok with taking the baby at 38 weeks but she said the hospital won't allow it. I can't stand the hospital here. They won't let my husband stay in the room when we check in or for epidural...

I know someone who has been induced and had successful vbacs. You could ask if shell be willing to break your water and see if you can go naturally and opt for a c/s if it doesn't go as planned. My friend has had one c/s and five or six vaginal births. Several of which were vbacs.

Well she is all for me going natural she just don't want me to go past due cause the size of my first baby. My daughter was a few days early and 9 lbs. She said she prefers me not going past due.

If you don't go into labor by your due date you're getting a c/s? Is your doctor pushing the c/s? If you really want to try vbac and your dr is willing to let you try before your edd, I would push for him to let me try to labor on my own.

i am a waiter so i would wait. but its a personal decision i think. if you really want it then waiting a few extra days shouldn't be terrible. but if you find you really want the c section at 40 weeks then you don't want the vbac as badly as you thought and so go for the c section. you gotta follow your instincts on some things.
best of luck and congratulations on considering a vbac!
