I never bled for more than 10 days, if that, and very lightly too. But I had 3 c-sections so that could be why. We'll see this time around :)

It varies woman to woman but I bled for three weeks straight then stopped for 9 days, started again for 8 days then that was it. My cycles returned to normal after that, though my periods were heavier for a couple of months than they were pre-pregnancy

Heavy for about 2-3 weeks then it slowed down. But if I tried to do too much I would start bleeding red again. The spot on your uterus where the placenta was attached is basically a scab and when you over exert yourself it opens up abd bleeds

I've had 3 vaginal deliveries. Each was different. 1st bleed heavy around 2weeks, then spotted for a week or so. 2nd light bleeding 4days no periods nothing till concieved again. 3rd bleed for 6weeks then had mirena put in and bled for 4months straight. Gotta admit lil nervous how things will go after this baby n getting tubes tied (if c section) or coils (if vaginal)
