Oh I see so changing the things I eat, so more eggs and cheeses etc...? Yes markymess porridge is the same as oatmeal and crumpets are a little like muffins lol
I just looked at a conversion chart. Your fasting is good. But after meals is high. They usually want 6.2 and lower 1 hour after meals. Maybe because your 2 hr is a little higher then they want. I would try pairing a protein with your breakfast. It usually helps your body obsorb carbs better. Eggs, cheese etc.
Sorry, I believe the US uses mg / dL.
What are crumpets? Lol and isnt porridge the same thing as oatmeal? In the states things are pretty different. I personally think its neat.
Oh BTW my Dr still has to see them readings yet as I only got a paired gtt on Thursday so was told to use home blood glucose monitor and go back with results on Tuesday
There from a blood glucose home testing kit, I think in England we test in mmol hun..
Those numbers don't sound like glucose levels. Are you giving hemoglobin A1C numbers?
I just have porridge or toast or crumpets... I'm due too see diabetes Dr, Dietian on Tuesday I just don't understand the readings how they possibly think I'm gd I know it's based on fact how long your body takes to break down sugars etc which if it's long leads a gd diagnosis but pretty much 2hrs after eating I've gone back between 5& 6 which 2hrs after eating is good for non diabetic can be upto 10 2hrs after... It just boggles my brain
I'm a opposite. My morning wake is high. Above the 5.3. After meals I'm less than the 6.9. What are you having for breakfast? I'm stuck having a cup of oatmeal with milk. No fruits during my meals, only snacks. No pop or juice. I'm on day time insulin if my dinner Dont impoverishe.
