So what will happen if I fail the 3 hour glucose test??

They will give u diet restrictions & have u monitor and chart ur blood sugar levels every day.

They will diagnosis you with Gestational Diabetes. You will have to follow a strict diet and test your blood sugar every few hours. Usually is done at home with a little prick of the finger a hand held device will read your level for you. Good luck!

I would like to know too... my aunt said you have to monitor your sugar levels and if you cant you have to give yourself insulin shots.. I have to do my 3 hr one tomorrow. .. not excited... and will find out the results either tuesday or Wednesday.... hopefully I pass... cause I physically could not give myself insulin shots

insulin is the last result. i failed my 3 hour test, got put on a diet very easy to do! i even lost weight with it.the highest my bs got was 163...that was after burger,cheese fries and a sweet tea. don't stress you will do fine
