I get it terribly also. Stay away from fatty or greasy foods. Milk helps me a lot. It sounds like you live in the UK, om not sure if you guys have pickles over there or not. They are baby cucumbers stored in a vinegar brine, spices and some salt.

I agree any thing with dairy will help...I eat yogurt to help. I also do tums a lot and zantac is pregnancy safe, too. Avoid greasy and fatty foods and anyything with a lot of acid (tomatoes, soda, etc) will make it worse. Definitely keep tums on hand forimmediate relief

I take prilosec. Baby safe. I had acid reflux before being pregnant. No reason to suffer through heartburn. If you have constant heartburn/acid reflux you can damage your esophagus since it's not equipped to handle stomach acid.

There's always the classic tums.

I am now 31wks and had heart burn and acic reflexes since I have been in my second trimestre. They were very painful for me. I literally will find myself crying cause the pain was unbearable. I thought I tried everything I could possibly considering I was pregnant but nothing seem to help at all. So I went to my doc and told her my problem and she suggested pepcid complete chewables and I could not believe how much it has help. I dont think I had to take no more than three a day. I get the berry flavor and it isnt bad at all. I would definetly recommend pepcid complete chewable tablets to all women for heartburn and acic reflexes. It works wonders for me and I hope it does the same for you.

I actually can't suffer through it feels like I can't even breath at times and I feel like I'm puking but I'm not :/ so odd.

I'll try avoid spicey food etc... doesn't help I crave nachos with jalapeño eh? Lol .. I've ate nothing but sausage pudding and patatoes today. .
But maybe the can of coke done it :/

Aghh I never had heartburn on my daughter xx
