hellp syndrome

Hey ladies, well yday was the big day for me. Have u ladies heard of the hellp syndrome? Well I'm 28 weeks. I got up yday morning doing my morning routine getting my 3yr old together n me ready to go to work mind u ladies head hurting as well. So wen I got to work about 8:20 am I asked my supervisor could I leave at 11am because my head wouldn't stop hurting I drove my self at the women hospital at 11:30 n guess wat they had to do an emergency c section on me had her at 425pm

Hello is linked to high blood pressure and preeclampsia. The only cure is delivery of the fetus but it is a fine line between what is good for mom and what is good for baby. The low platelets are the most concerning thing. Anyways, good luck.

Awww thank goodness you and baby are well. Hope she gets to go home quick and I hope you have a awesome recovery ;) I'm due December 27th also and wow you beat me to it but luckily she's doing fine.  Get some rest momma and congrats. ;)

I Had HELLP with my first pregnancy, like you I just thought I needed to rest & all of a sudden I had to have emergency cs at 32 weeks. My daughter was 2lbs, 14oz. Shes still small at almost 2 years old, but we haven't had any long term issues from her being preemie. Try to focus on skin to skin (kangaroo care) in the hospital & pump for her even if they have to supplement. Good luck on your new baby! If you have any questions let me know!

C section hurt bad y'all not trying to scare anyone but I did not see this coming at all because she suppose to came December 27 2014

She came out 2pounds n 3oz

To be honest I was just gone go home n get a lil rest n go to sleep. Because I was saying to my self they wasn't gone do anything but check me n send me back home. Come to find out my blood pressure was up 181/102. The doctors said good I came because me n the baby was n serious trouble

They say that she's doing real good to be born that early that they never seen nun like it. Some of the things I was having was back pains just on the right side of my back that will tight up n chest pain n a real bad head ach that didnt go away

How is the baby?.never heard of that syndrome b4. Whats causes it.
