I am a ftm 32 weeks and my doctor has yet to do a vaginal exam or even check me down there at all... is tht normal?

Many, not all, doctors will do a pap at the very beginning and then will not check you down there again until the end unless there are issues. You might get check in 4 weeks or so for dilation.

My midwife didn't check me until I was 40weeks

You don't need an internal until you're almost due. And paps don't check for STI's because you do urines and bloods for that. At least that's how it goes in Australia. I know a lady who has 4 kids and never had an internal until she was in labour.

Im 29 weeks and have not had a pap or been examined at all down there either! Ive been wondering the same thing!!

My doctor hasn't done an examination yet and I am 38+4. It depends, I didn't need a pap as I had already had one not long before I was pregnant. If they don't need to for any medical then they shouldn't.

If You Are Taking About Dilation That Normally Starts At 36 Weeks.

Not even a pap? Cause if that's the case then I don't see that being normal. T usually they want to do at least a pap to check for stds  an stuff like that.
