I get the opposite, ppl tell me how small my tummy looks. Im six months and ppl think I'm three or four. I get ppls story's about being huge, but I feel really big now.
People think they can say and do whatever they want to pregnant people. My philosophy is if you wouldn't do or say it to a non pregnant person, then you have no business saying it to a pregnant person. No one would dare tell a non pregnant person that they look huge, and they wouldn't walk up to a non pregnant stranger and touch them.
I dont mind that comment as much as.... "wow, packing on the pounds, huh?" Or "oh, i thought you were just getting fat, so i didn't want to ask."
I get offended when people say I am not that big. I am due in 21 days and dont look it. People always say how tiny I am. I feel like if I was bigger people would have more compassion, you know treating pregnant women better due to our limits. People keep thinking that since I am not that big that I must be feeling great.
I think people should be a little more mindful as some pregnant women would take offense to it. Not every woman is comfortable with their body when they're pregnant.
Yes, I would. I'm probably sensitive, but I hate comments about my tummy.
I just seen a post from a parenting page that said something about that. Some comments can be rude, but for me, I expect it. People have no control on what comes out sometimes lol
No! im almost five months and have a good sized bump. Ppl ask me how far along I am and when I tell them there like whoa your big. Is it twins. I just laugh and say no just one big girl.
Ok I would just laugh at it too.
I get that all the time but that alone doesn't bother me it's the fact that they keep pushing it that does. Like I'll say no its just one and laugh and they'll say are you sure? Or they add the well you're about to pop then right ? Lol its the explaining that bothers me and how they have to find the reason why I'm so huge!
No, iv had that said to me a few times x I have a huge belly lol xx I just laugh it off
