I have 4 kids and I can promise you, there will always be that something you forgot. Lol. The basics: comfortable night gowns, socks/slippers, toiletries, good sports bra/ nursing bra (depending on if you breast feed), underwear, your favorite pads (the heavy flow), pillow/ blankie, special items you want for labor, & a comfy outfit for coming home (easy to get on, not tight, & you don't care if you get spit up on Lol) For baby: a couple of outfits, coming home clothes, & car seat. Most hospitals supply the rest. :) If you want to feel free to message me :) and don't forget to pack chargers for your phone and camera! They will be dead within a few hours lol

Its best to w.heal with your hospital what they provide. Here in Scotland you take your own nappies and wipes, but give you with sanitary pads, and formula if you bottle feeding x

And take more pants - big granny pants - than yo think you need. I ended up with emergency section and i bled so heavily but hi couldn't get up to change my pad -the midwife checked every 15 mins and my pants had to be changed 3 times that first day cause there was so much blood it soaked through x

Also wet flushable toilet wipes (not baby wipes, the adult ones) they are heaven on a sore down there after having bub. So much nicer than rough toilet paper!
