Agree with all of these and I would add snacks. I am always STARVING as soon as I'm nursing so it's nice to have my own supply.
The pillows are a great idea turtle414! The hospital ones are horrible!
First time I took my own nursing night gowns bc the hospital ones aren't comfortable, my breast friend feeding pillow (lifesaver), all my toiletries, camera, chargers, regular clothes, going home outfit for baby, and my own pillow- the hospital ones were awful and I was warned ahead of time to bring my own and was SO glad I did. I'll probably do the same this time.
Hospital has everything but carseat and going home outfit for baby :-) (if you are in the US). But for you all they have are their gowns, towels, a type of underwear (at least if you have csection) and pads. So any shower products and clothing you want to wear at hospital and/or to go home, toothbrush, toothpaste you should bring. Oh and they do give samples of lanolin.
