Hi I am about 6 weeks pregnant and I didn't know anything about not going to hot springs or sauna. I spent about 10 in 5 didnt hot springs and 10 minutes in a sauna. Should I be worried??

Don't worry bc it'll make things worse but defd don't do it again if sometings going to happen ot will after 12 weeks is normally when you can stop worrying about misscarriage....no heating pads no hot baths warm baths are ok as if you get into to hot of water or have heating pad on it can raise your temperature and in return hurt the baby ....I was told only warm temps and not to cold either as can shock the baby ....good luck make sure you check with basically any meds you take to like advil is a no for headaches a lot you can't take while pregnant ....

I was told to avoid hot tubs and an thing that will raise your blood pressure it can cause harm to your unborn child might even give you a miscarriage..... doctors told me hot baths only for maybe 10 mins or less but warm is definitely ok to do!! Good luck and congratulations!!! :-)

I was told that the only reason they tell you that is because you can dehydrate. So as long as you felt OK not light headed or anything you should be fine. I had to go to the er and asked if I could use a heating pad, I had a bladder infection and she said of course and even brought up hot tubs and showers. Just drink lots of water and don't stay in them for long. I would ask your Dr though their are differing opinions.

I have been getting really bad stomach and back pain, which my Dr said is completely normal since I'm only 9weeks. Her advice was to use a heating pad 15minutes on 15minutes off.she also said hot showers are ok since I suffer from migraines. Though I would suggest asking your doctor their reccomendation because not every pregnancy is the same. Good luck!
