how does the weight add up?

I saw a post on here a cpl weeks ago and someone replied that extra blood weighs this much and your breasts gain this much etc. Anyway does anyone know if you gain the normal weight range throughout your pregnancy where that weight is actually being applied to? Just curious bc we are obviously not having 25 pound babies lol.
