Does me eating ice so much make my baby cold??

I eat ice everyday my baby is fine and my midwife knows about my ice cravings other then being a sign if needing iron tablets she's fine with it although she wasn't quite so okay with it when I craved toothpaste :)

No by the time anything gets to the baby it is warm. I am cold all the time and my iron levels are excellent,  which is a huge shock because with my last pregnancy they were worried they were going to have to do a transfusion after delivery...

I've been craving ice like crazy, but I crave other things as well. I think it's just nice to have and fun to chew on even though it's bad for your teeth! And I dont think it necessarily makes your baby cold, but your baby does feel the coldness of it and it can make him/her move around more when you're eating it. It's not harmful to the baby though. Congrats on your babies,ladies !

I probably am anemic. But i craved ice with my last child and my iron was fine

I don't think it does but if your craving ice u may be anemic. I eat a lot of ice and did before I got pregnant my doctor said its from being anemic. Something about having low iron makes u crave ice
