induction medication

I finally had my baby on December 27th, she was only 11 days late... Lol. She was 8 pounds, 7 ounces, 21 inches long. My 9 year old was kind of emotional after she was born so we let him chooseher name, he picked Isabella Kalisa :)

I was induced on boxing day but it didn't take effect until the following morning. I just wanted to say, if not absolutely necessary, wait for your baby to come naturally. I have 3 kids now & being induced made the whole process way more painful then myother 2 births combined. I was screaming, swearing, crying... I didn't have anything for pain but the gas mind you but the Dr said it was all because i was induced. So i hope you all have a much easier time then i did, and if they offer you to get in a bath, do it! I stayed in there for a couple hours lol

I've been induced for 2 of 3.  Prefer it now actually.  Mine were much more pleasant. First was natural and I spend 23.5 hours in labor hell!  Induced with my daughter I was able to get pain management help (epidural) and it was under 5 hours.  Most recent was even shorter. This baby is looking to come early though so I'm making sure the birthing plan is VERY clear.

Congrads on your little girl. :) I was induced at 10 days over due too. But I didn't have any problems. My bub was 8 pound 6 ounces and the labour was all over in about 7 hours. But I don't have anything.to compare too. Second bub due at the start of may. Hoping this one is ready to come out earlier cause they are already saying its massive. :)
