that's what I was afraid of.. even more than that, I was terrified he'd be born, then I'd lose my insurance a week or so later. & yes, thank God I have the backup lol - I needed it any way until I can go back to work full time!
OctoberMommy..you would have insurance thru the 31st of October..but there's no guarantee your baby will come on time so it's good you have a backup..
is Medicaid offered in your state? I currently have insurance under my mama, but I'll be 26 in October & it runs out.. so I applied & was approved for Medicaid..
my birthday is Oct. 11th, our baby boy is due Oct. 24th, and I was freaking out thinking I wouldn't have insurance when I go in to deliver..
I'm going to call first thing in the morning... thank you I can't have this baby without insurance and she could come any day....
Call them again and tell them you need insurance coverage immediately due to pregnancy. You can not be denied. Don't let them send you in circles!
I've had temporary coverage for 3 months now and was supposed to hear by the 30th to see if I have been aproved... I haven't gotten a aprove nor deny letter so I don't know why my prescription would be denied
They check into your bank account and assets and if you have more than 2000 or make more than 1900 a month I guess they can deny you but I work under the table and didn't think they would look into it
I have mass health.. What I did was got a proof of pregnancy and brought it right to the office and they gave me coverage right away..
No way! Call the mass health office. All pregnant women in ma without insurance are covered automatically, no questions. I had my insurance approved hours after I found out I was expecting. Just keep calling!
Ask your Dr office for info on other medical assistance options. There is usually something for everyone.
Or is there anyone who paid out of pocket.... if so how much did it cost
