I have both and u have to use ur private as primary and Medicaid as secondary. if you don't Medicaid will deny the claim.... trust me it happened to me with a prescription
Medicaid will pick up whatever is left from your primary insurance. With having caid 2nd you should never get abill

Medicaid will pay the deductable
Will Medicaid pay my deductible and out of Pocket, this is so confusing, ?
If you have Medicaid and regular insurance, Medicaid is your secondary insurance to pick up the difference
You need to use both because then it is insurance fraud. Plus medicaid should know that you have other insurance as primary. They then will denied your claims. You don't want to have to deal with that either does your doctor, hospital and anyone else. I do billing and coding for a living plus im also on medicaid 2nd to my insurance
Plus doing it with both you reach your out of pocket expenses faster. Like my mom has to pay so much out of pocket in order for her health insurance to start paying kinda thing.
I have both and it is perfect. I have.cigna which is always considered primary and medicaid secondary. So whatever cigna doesnt cover medicaid picks up... I get treated great since i have cigna and as many ultrasounds since its easier to get them approved through cigna... Medicaid is strict on ultrasounds.
You have to use both or its considered insurance fraud you can get in big trouble for it.
It all depends on you doctor, but I use both because my doctor won't see me with just Medicaid unless I'm high risk or transferred from another doctor. But also you should use both because Medicaid covers what your insurance doesn't.
Normally they suggest you use both cause what one wont pay for the other will
