Ask your doctor/midwife if they bill before or after delivery. My midwife bills after delivery and since I am due Dec 28th I feared I would be in the same boat.

Deductibles go by calendar year typically. So chances are good you will need to pay the full deductible in/by February because it will be in the new year.

My ob has to be paid in full by 28wks and that covers the delivery and after care so maybe just ask the billing department!  So happy I just payed him now I only have to pay for ultrasounds and blood work

Yes, if your insurance deductible renews before then or even while you are in the hospital

Mommabrandy u will still have to pay the hospital bills and baby bills when you deliver. What ob doc charges is just his fees not counting hospital stay etc
