Hi Im 28, and I just found out I have 6weeks... I have a medical plan so Im going to see my gyn next week... Do you know if medicaid if available for woman that does not have insurance? I guess my doctor is going to tell me but Im worried about it and the appointment is in one week... Tks a lot

Go to ur state health dept and they will be able to help u sign up for Medicaid.  just call and make the apt and bring any proof of income u have and they should he able to help u get started.  Just tell them u think ur pregnant and they'll help confirm ur pregnancy and get u set up with Medicaid.  Goodluck!

Yes file right now! It takes a bit. All you can do is try. When  you get accepted tho you will have to find a doc that accepts medicaid. Some docs like my office accept it as backup. .but other places will not take you. So make sure you do your research.

Usually medicaid is available, but have to be in the income requirements. All u can do is file right away. Don't wait for the 6 weeks.
