I took a pregnancy test a one line was lighter then the other.but there are two lines

It sounds like you are pregnant!  Congrats!  If you want further confirmation maybe get the hpt that actually says "pregnant" or "not pregnant". I had one with 2 full dark lines but still didn't believe it, so I did the digital as well.

I took a test in the afternoon and got a faint line, I took a second test first thing the next morning and got the same result. The first morning pee is the best to use and the faint line definately counts.congrats on your pregnancy :-)

It is extremely rare to get a false positive and a faint line is still a line congratulations! I had one solid dark line with a faint line then went out and bought a hpt that said "yes" or "no" so there was no mistake and sure enough it was yes!

The first time I thought I was pregnant I had a faint line and I wasn't pregnant.. It had to do with hormones..

My 2nd line was extremely faint also. Husband didn't even believe me at first!

A faint line is still a line. That's a positive - no need for a blood test or another hpt. You are pregnant.

Mine came back negative and I retook it a few days later and I was definitely pregnant..
Try taking a pregnancy test in 5 days.. It worked for me.. You could go to the doctor and they do. Blood test..
