I went mad on tea in my first trimester, because I couldn't drink coffee (It mad me ill) I would drink up to 10 cups a day. My doc wasn't concerned when I told him. I am half way through my pregnancy now and all is fine....

Yes, but apparently not green tea, because it blocks the absorption of folic acid.

Decaffeinated tea is best when pregnant and I found it tastes exactly the same as normal tea bags

My doctor told me that tea is safe to drink and a good alternative to coffee. I only have 1 cuppa coffee in the morning. Please don't forget your water though xx

It's OK to drink but I heard to drink it weak. Tea has fenols not spelled right and might be the wrong word but it's an f word that makes it hard to absorb iron. It's safe but just not a lot.
