is this contractions?

I know others have posted this and this is my 5th pregnancy I just don't remember what everything feels like. I've been having cramp like pains both lower abdomen and back and even in my vaginal area. The pain is so intense that I feel like I'm suffocating and sometimes I want to throw up. I'm 32weeks I started timing and they are 40mins apart about a min long. Am I going into labor or are these pains just BH?

I whent through something similar just a few weeks ago im on baby #4. I couldn't remember the feelings either,  sad as I just had a baby a year ago. lol anyways I was 30 -31 weeks and it was labour.  I sugest you go to the L&D

I have my appointment tomorrow I'm hoping the pain goes away so I can wait to see him tomorrow but if it stays intense I will for sure call or go to l&d thanks
