I recently had a job change because I was pregnant and my previous job was too strenuous and I was worried for the health of my baby. My new employers were very understanding when I told them I was pregnant. Goodluck with your decision :)
One of my friends was 4 months in already when she started her gm position for Olive Garden. When she went for training in Florida, there was one other new manager who was pregnant. So its possible!
If you are applying at a very small company for whom it would be a hardship to lose you (even to maternity leave) once you are fully trained, have some consideration for them if you know you're pregnant and at least let them know. If it is a large company with a good system for handling maternity leave and good health benefits, and you will be working in a department where there would be backup for you when you take time off sooner than they otherwise would expect you to take it, go ahead and take the job if they offer it. Keep in mind that some jobs want you to vest for a certain amount of time before benefits accrue, in my husband's company someone has to work there a year before they get well-time off and they only get a certain amount of sick time as well. Look into that question, since if all goes as planned, it will not be a year before you need time off.
I was 6m pg with my twins when i started a new job as a cna. I barely hit my 90 day mark before i went into labor, but since i made it 90 i was covered and my employer was fine with everything. Better to be doing something you are happy with during the pg than be stressed. You arent very far along so if you are worried about the interview process you can keep it to yourself until after you have the job. You dont have to share any personal info like that in an interview.
I had to leave where I was stressed and unhappy. I had two mc last year so I didnt want to be stressed when I got pregnant again. I told my current employer we were trying. I got pregnant before I started where I am know. But he is laid back and a family man so that helps. There not suppose to descriminate against expecting moms.
