just wondering if anyone else has done this.

For the past two weeks I've been having irregular contractions that last for about 4-5 hours, then yesterday afternoon they started again and progressed to regular 5 mins apart so I called my dr, my doula, made arrangements for my 2 year old, and my husband came home from work. 12 hours later they were still 5 mins apart so I decided to go and get checked at l&d.  I was 1cm dilated and having regular 7min apart contractions. They gave me the choice to stay because I'm trying for a vbac. I decided to go back home and try to rest. Now everything has stopped. I am so upset. I feel like my body is failing... I am 38 weeks 3 days and I know I don't have long but this constant start and stop really has me on edge. I am so scared to have another c-section and the closer to my due date I get the more likely it will happen. Has anyone else labored like this?? I don't know how much more I can take.

I've been walking, bouncing, dancing, my husband is too scared he will hurt me now to have sex. Some contractions I can walk and some I can't. So I'm starting to wonder if I'm having sporadic real contractions and the rest are painful braxton hicks. I know I'm close no matter what with 11 days to my due date, its just really disheartening to think It's finally coming and then nothing. I guess I was wondering if its normal or not. I have a dr appointment on tuesday so I'm going to make sure I really talk to them about this.

I've been having "regular sporadic" contractions. I get them every day they last a couple hours and will come about 5-10 mins apart and then they stop. I've only been in once for it though because now I'm just kind of used to it. It's been happening since 33 weeks.

I have not though my fingers and toes are crossed for you. When contractions start are you able to walk? Anything to keep them progressing..?
