keeping the gender a surprise

Anyone ever kept the gender of one of their babies a surprise? Did it go well? Were any family members super upset?

Me and my husband always finds out. We love knowing but as far as family goes we don't tell anybody else. Never thought wether it upsets family or not cause it's our child our decision. Although they all think we don't know either. I find the excitement is ringing family after and telling them the surprise. Can't wait for my little girl to arrive. My eldest daughter want it to be a girl and my son wants it to be a boy. My eldest daughter will be super excited with a girl and my son will just have to grow up surrounded by sisters, they will not know until the day of arrival all going well.

I had always wanted to but financially we were relying on others to help and didn't find a whole lot of neutral options. With my first we found out he was a boy and a neighbor gave us a lot of clothing.for this pregnancy I wanted to find out bc I was so excited ended up being a girl which we wanted. It was still exciting for us to find out I think it's fun either way.

I am this time.  We don't know and no one else knows. I have the gender in an envelope at home in case we couldn't handle the suspense, but it seems to be bothering everyone else around me, and not so much me. I have 6 more weeks to go (today) and I can wait.  However, I am so over this pregnancy.  Regardless of the baby's gender, this has been the roughest pregnancy so far.  The aches and pains-so ready to be done with them.

My sister did her 3rd. My mom and I had to wash, fold, and put up all her boy stuff for her. She already had 1b and 1g.

I didn't ask purposely the gender of my first baby and for second also I'm looking for a best surprise. It's fun when people keep guessing the gender of your baby. And u also rejoice calling the baby in your womb as he or she at different times.

We are keeping this baby a surprise.  I think it adds to the excitement.  A few of my family was upset at first but when I told them why, they all jumped on board. Good luck
