labor story!!!

So I finally had my baby and it's a boy!!!!! (We kept it a surprise)

So my water broke a day before my due date but my labor didn't start. I was only dilated to a 2 but 100% effaced.   So on my due date i went to the hospital to be induced. They started me on poticin at 3 in the afternoon. I stayed at a two forever then finally progressed to a 4. After 13 hours of labor and very intense contractions  (even with the epidural) I was only a 5 and didn't progress anymore :(. My doctor checked me and noticed my baby's head was swelling and that is not normal for only being 5 cm. So She realized that my pelvic area was just too small to push baby out.  So I ended up with a c section. It was such a long day and I ended up puking alot because I was so hungry but couldn't eat.  But in the end I am just soooooo excited that my little boy is here!

We Welcome Aceton Theodore into the world Nov.  29th at 4:40 a.m. weighing 7 pounds 3 oz.  :) he is so adorable! Looks Just like his daddy!!

Congrats! I had 4 days of labor, was induced. Since baby was fine, they allowed me to carry on until she came out even though they did threaten csection. Again congrats on your bundle of joy!
