leaking breasts
i'm 26 weeks pregnant and have noticed that my left breast leaked twice while i was sleeping. i think it might be from one of my four cats stepping on my boob but i'm not sure. last night, i lifted up my boob after taking off my bra and a bit of clear liquid came out. it had a dot of white in the center but it was mostly clear. is this normal? is it my milk coming in? my breasts haven't been sore at all during my pregnancy and i was also wondering if that means that they won't work when i try breastfeeding my son after he's born. thanks for your help!
Yes it's colostrum.
I had a post about this last week! I was only 23weeks and kept thinking Id spilt water on myself (silly i know) but i finally clicked. Apparently normal, even for just one breast to start first.
Apparently, it can be a sign that the leaking breast will be prefered side or produce more milk... It's my small one... Which surprised me!
