light brown discharge

39 weeks & 3 days yesterday morning woke up to small dark brown discharge the first few times i went potty, then it stopped called dr to be sure he said if it got worse go in. Last night after i cleaned my house i had a little bit again, last night i had holy hip pain from h3ll with yet again a little dark brown discharge. This once again happened the first few times i pottied this morning. Laying on the couch nursing a headache i got up went potty and had some more dk brown discharge just a little bit more than i have had yesterday and this morning. I have had what i call back spasms literally 3 or 4 majorly painful ones today and that is all. Idk what i should do or wait till my dr appt in the morning. Its been almost 5 yrs since i have done this and dont remember anything like this happening. Lil mans movements are normal as of now. Sry its long just wanted to be specific to get best answers/advise

It could be that you are passing pieces of the mucus plug. That's what it sounds like to me. The fact that it's brown is a sign it's not active bleeding. So I would be on the look out tonight and make sure the dr checks in the a.m. :) good luck sweetie
