light brown vaginal discharge

Hi I am 7.5 weeks pregnant with my first child this morning after urinating and wiping I noticed a discharge unlike normal it was a light brown in colour i had sex with my husband for the first time since finding out 2 days ago some years sites are saying it's old blood from the cervix being irritated after inter course I haven't experienced this discharge since this morning I have no pains or aches or very notable cramping  just wondering has any one else experienced some thing similar during pregnancy  and should I be worried ?

Yes it also happened to me with my first at about 7 or 8 weeks. It wasn't even after intercourse. But my son is 3 and really healthy, I heard its normal.

Thanks its great to hear that others have gone threw the same thing my doctor told me not to look for symptoms on the Internet because I will worry myself unnecessarily ! It's hard not to worry when you don't no what to expect!

I was told that around 8 weeks it's normal to spot, it could be from intercourse or that!:) congrats!

I had it that happen at 11 weeks and it was after intercourse. My doctor said it just irritated my cervix a little bit. It's normal. I'm 29 weeks now and everything is fine. You have to worry When you have bright red blood or clots.
