I gained 45...too much! But in three months I had lost all but 5 lbs and could fit into my clothes...by 5 months I was down the extra 5. I honestly didn't work out or watch What I ate. I did breastfeed.

My rule of thumb is that it took 9 months to put the weight on, give yourself that much time to take it off. I got back to my pre-gregnancy weight around 6 months but my pants didn't fit. My body is forever changed so I had to get new ones.

I breastfed and lost the weight pretty quickly. My niece said I didn't even look like I'd had a baby after she was born, but even with a quick weight loss some of my jeans still wouldn't button 3 months later. It took the longest for my hips to go back to normal, haha!

Thanks Ladies, I'm definitely planning on breast feeding so I hope that helps.

With my first...I was almost back within 2 weeks, I only gained bout 20lbs with her because I was so sick. With my second about 2mo. And I gained about 35lbs with him. I strongly believe breast feeding helped with both.
